Born in 1971, Riccardo Cristiani is a freelance researcher, editor, and translator. A medievalist by training, he pursued his higher education in Genoa, Bologna, and the United States. He co-authored the book What Is the History of Emotions? with Barbara H. Rosenwein (Polity Press, 2018). He is a member of the selection committee for the Torino Underground Cinefest and cultivates his love of cinema relentlessly.
