Vladimir Reutov
Hello
Vladimir Reutov
About Me
Vladimir Reutov is a distinguished tenor with a profound background in the performing arts. A graduate of the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) under the guidance of Roman Viktyuk, Vladimir has dedicated his career to the intersection of music, drama, and visual storytelling.
His extensive experience on prestigious stages—including the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, and the Royal Opera House of Muscat—has granted him a unique perspective on narrative structure and emotional expression. Having worked with visionary directors such as Peter Stein and Terry Gilliam, he possesses a refined "cinematic" eye for staging, character development, and the power of the visual image.
Why I am passionate about judging film:
"My life on stage has always been driven by a deep love for cinema and the visual arts. I believe that film, much like opera, is a total art form. I am eager to apply my experience in dramatic interpretation and vocal storytelling to evaluate the technical skill and emotional impact of these short films. My goal is to identify works that push creative boundaries and resonate with authenticity."
