Daniel Ortiz Díaz (Málaga, 1976) is a Spanish director, editor, and screenwriter who has been connected to the audiovisual sector from a very young age. He has developed a career spanning film, advertising, music videos, and documentary filmmaking.
In 2003, he represented Málaga at the Athens Biennale with the animated short film La plaga. During his early years, he was part of the creative collective Niños Cabra, with which he contributed to the production of short films, advertising campaigns, and music videos, consolidating an authorial vision linked to independent cinema.
Throughout his career, he has received more than 40 awards and recognitions at national and international festivals. In recent years, he has focused his work as an editor, screenwriter, and documentary director, collaborating on various audiovisual projects within the fields of mystery and spirituality, while maintaining a constant presence in the cinematic and cultural scene.
