Martin Marro is an Architect and Conceptual Artist. He has participated in different salons, awards and exhibitions. Among them, La Línea Piensa, an initiative of Luis Felipe Noé & Eduardo Stupía in 2011. He was twice finalist of the Itau Cultural Prize between 2012-14, exhibiting in different Museums of the Argentina and the Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires.In 2014, he was invited by Rodrigo Alonso, curator of the Argentine Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2011, to exhibit at the National Arts Fund in Buenos Aires.He obtained the Production and Projects Workshop grant of the National Arts Fund, Future Platform grant by National Ministry of Culture and Bicentenary grant from the National Fund for the Arts, between 2015-17. In 2014-15 he proposed and taught an annual course on applied informatics at the Faculty of Arts of the National University of Cordoba.He was also a finalist for the Patio Olmos Award at the Emilio Caraffa Museum in 2019 in Córdoba Argentina. In 2022 he was selected for the National Visual Arts Salon Award, Palais of Glace at the Kirchner Cultural Centre in Buenos Aires. In the same year he is invited to the group exhibition Contaminated Practices at the Museum of Womens, Córdoba-Argentina. In 2024-25 he was selected for the group exhibition ‘Cosecharas Tu Ciencia’ at the Evita Museum Ferreyra Palace, in Córdoba-Argentina.His work was published in the Digital Book, Contemporary Drawing in Argentina, presented at the Proa Foundation, Buenos Aires, 2014. Some of his works were also published in the Designboom Digital Magazine, 2019 and in the last book of the year 2023 by the editorial Thames & Hudson in London England.
