Gianna Cannì holds a PhD in History of Women's Writings from Sapienza University of Rome, and completed an Advanced Studies program in Media Education at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. She collaborates as a contract lecturer with the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and Modern Cultures at the University of Turin. She is the author of essays on women's literature and education. She teaches literary subjects at a high school in Catania.
