When queer stoner Marcy returns to her grandparents’ home to help care for her mentally declining grandmother, she discovers they are being terrorized by a malevolent force from a Victorian post-mortem photograph.

Five elderly guests of the Opera Don Guanella retirement home in Rome, bored by daily life and disappointed by the separation of their dearest affections, decide to escape to Puglia to realize the dream of their lives: they are Rocco (Ivano Marescotti), a failed trader, his brother Luchino (Enzo Salvi), an obsessive-compulsive cook, Antonio (Babak Karimi), a longtime ex-captain, Erica (Corinne Clery), a former cardiopathic singer, and Mirna (Sandra Milo), who arrived in Italy from Serbia at the outbreak of the Yugoslav wars. Enamored by the adventure Mirna is about to undertake to find the much sought-after Dragomir (Antonio Catania), her old love believed dead but actually hidden for decades in Salento, the four of them join the journey. They are certain that their lives will change for the better once they meet the powerful criminal. Their personal stories will alternate in a succession of events between passion and adventure, in a Salento that will be the setting for their emotions. Will our friends be able to realize their dreams?

It also follows the daughters’ journey as they try to grasp why their father doesn’t love them. Through a series of events, the father realizes his mistakes, recognizes his duty to raise them, and becomes a very proud father.The film also enlightens the Indian society by making them realize that this social injustice and discrimination will not stop until we take a stand to speak up collectively.
